Delete your account

In the app (immediate)

• Open TrueSteps Social and go to the You tab.
• Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
• Confirm. Your account is deleted at once. You need an internet connection.

Without the app

Email support@exabyte.com.pk from the Google account you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my TrueSteps Socialaccount". We delete the account within 30 days and reply to confirm. We only act on requests from the account's own address, so nobody can delete someone else's account.

What is deleted

• Your account: name, email, profile photo, Google account ID and username
• Your body profile, goals and notification choices
• All your steps stored on our server
• Your friendships, friend requests and group memberships
• Your phones' notification tokens
• Your step test results, diagnostic reports and their files, feedback and feature votes

What is kept

• A group you created stays for its other members, without you in it. It is deleted when its last member leaves.
• Steps recorded on your phone stay on the phone until you uninstall the app or clear its storage. They are not on our server.
• Our server logs, which record requests (type, address, result, timing) but not their contents.

Nothing else is kept. See the privacy policy for everything the app stores.
