Privacy Policy

In short

Sukoon is a tasbeeh counter made by Exabyte Software Solutions. It has no account, no sign-in, no ads and no internet access. What you count stays on your phone and is never sent to us or to anyone else. We have no server that receives data from it, and it contains no advertising, analytics or tracking code.

What the app stores, and where it stays

The following is kept in the app's private storage on your phone, so that your counting is never lost:

• Your counts: each dhikr's current count, its lap and target, and any dhikr you add yourself.
• Your history: how much you counted each day, and each finished session with its count and the time it took.
• Your settings: language, theme, number font, sound and vibration choices.

Nothing else is recorded.

Permissions

The app asks for one permission only: vibration, for the tick on each count and the pulse at a lap or target. It cannot use the internet, your location, contacts, camera, microphone, files or anything else on your phone.

What we collect

Nothing. Without Android's internet permission the app cannot send data to us or to any third party. We do not sell, share or transfer your data, because we never receive it.

The app is excluded from Android's cloud backup, so its data is not copied to your Google account either.

Google Play

The app is distributed through Google Play, which handles downloads and updates under Google's own privacy policy. If you have chosen in Android to share usage and diagnostics with app developers, Google may show us anonymous crash reports and install statistics. These do not include anything you count in the app.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your data stays on the phone until you delete it. In the app, Settings › Clear history removes the days you choose, or all of them. To delete everything, uninstall the app, or open Android Settings › Apps › Sukoon › Storage and tap Clear storage. Because we hold no copy, there is nothing to ask us to delete.

Children

Sukoon is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly receive data from anyone, of any age.

Changes to this policy

If the way the app handles data changes, we will update this page and the date at the top before that version of the app is released.
